"You need to love yourself before you can fully love someone else"

More then ever, self love is becoming accepted and not being viewed as "this person is self-obsessed". But it isn't easy for everyone and self-love is something you will need to practice daily. It is also important to remember to be patient and kind to yourself when doing so, somedays won't be as good as the last and somedays will be better then the first. Take it easy, make it simple and start incorporating self love into your everyday routine.

10 Easy Self Love Practices

1. Spend more time alone - enjoy your company.

2. Be kind to yourself.

3. Be grateful.

4. Be gentle.

5. Be less judgemental of yourself.

 

6. Journal - get out of your head.

7. Recognise your accomplishments.

8. Don't compare yourself to others.

9. Do something you're good at.

10. Meditate for 5 minutes everyday.

Each practice will look different for each individual. Start with one and incorporate it into your daily routine, it will then become second nature and you will begin adding more self love practices every week.
