We spend more time in teh workplace than we do in our own homes, so it's important that it's a space that aligns with our wellbeing values. Offices can be busy, intense environments at times, that don't always promote a calm frame of mind. This can take a toll on our health more than we realise. It's important to be mindful of our health and wellbeing while at work, and the ways in which we can improve our workspaces. One way we can do this, is by introducing essential oils into our workplace. With many healing properties, essential oils are a great way to create an environment of creativity, calm, collaboration and clear thinking. Below are some of the ways in which essential oils can help to create a positive work environment.

Stress management

Essential oils are very powerful in soothing and reducing tension and anxiety, which can creep up on us as deadlines loom. There are many essential oils with calming properties, but some of our favourites are Lavender essential oil, cedarwood, Bergamot, Sandalwood and our calm & destress blend. These oils are great for reducing stress and calming the mind. Simply add a few drops to an essential oil diffuser to create a calm, ambient environment.

The mid-afternoon slump is well known to all of us. It's easy to reach for a sugary snack or another coffee, but there's a natural solution. Instead of reaching for a sweet treat, try diffusing a fresh essential oil for an instant boost of energy. We recommend peppermint essential oil, mandarin, Rosemary, Lemongrass and Energy Blend. These oils will work to help awaken the senses and boost mental clarity.
