    Mindfulness Ritual

    Mindfulness Essential Oil Blend

Breathing Meditation: This meditation is designed to help you become calmer by focusing on how your hands move when you breathe. Mindfulness blend can help deepen the breath and promote a still mind for focus.

Diffuse 8 drops of Mindfulness Blend near you. Sitting comfortably or lying down, close your eyes. Place one hand over your heart and the other on your abdomen. Focus your attention on the movement of your hands as you breathe normally. Observe how your hands move in response to your natural breath.

There is a connection between the breath and stress levels. Quick, shallow breathing can be a sign of stress. Deep abdominal breathing can send a message to your brain to slow the stress response (fight or flight). Therefore, taking a few deep breaths is calming.

With this in mind: Spend 60 seconds breathing deeply, inhaling and exhaling slowly to the count of 5

Repeat cycles between 30 seconds of your natural breathing and 30 seconds of deep, slow breathing until you feel your normal breathing align with the slow rhythm; your shoulders and body should feel relaxed, and your mind should start to feel clearer and calmer.
