Meet our Broadbeach blend, inspired by coastal living, this fresh and exotic aroma brings instant joy and freedom of mind. Just like the ocean, Broadbeach blend is soothing to the mind and nurturing to the soul.

The story behind Broadbeach blend is so near and dear to the entire ECO. team that we feel privileged to be able to have had this experience. Sure, there are days when we just want to be able to have our own curated blend and it be personalised to everything we desire, but it's not everyday you can make that need into a reality. This is where beautiful Bernadette comes into the story.

Tell us a little more about yourself, Bernadette.

"Hello! I’m Dette and I'm a hairdresser, I own & run TONI&GUY Broadbeach. Outside of the salon (Whilst still hair stalking) I’m kept busy with my two boys Axl & Huxley and my unwind time is cocktails, always cocktails, and the cinema!!"

When & how were you introduced to ECO.?

"I’m so fortunate with my job I get to meet and build relationships with such a huge variety of clients, it’s honestly the best bit and they teach me more than they would ever know.

One of these beautiful people is Claire Mitchell and that is how I learnt about ECO. Modern Essentials! As a client she’s the bomb, she’s always up for funky pink tones in her blonde and mixing it up with the styling. Aside from that though I admire her work ethic so much, she’s so passionate about delivering a high quality product made here in Australia, at affordable prices so that everyone can gain the benefits. I find the way she talks about her team and how she treats them is inspiring and I’m so happy that her business is growing globally. You literally couldn’t meet a nicer crew!

We have been using the blends in Nebulizers for in the salon and some of the essential oils on our hot towels for treatments for numerous years now and our clients love them!"

What is your favourite ECO. essential oil?

"My favourite I would say is Ylang Ylang - so divine! And my fave ECO. Blend is Australian Shores. Was! That was my favourite blend until you pulled this out of the bag!!"

Tell us the story behind Broadbeach blend

"When relocating to our new salon in Broadbeach, it was around the same time Claire was moving into her apartment there too. We both had the same goal - make it awesome.

One thing stuck in my head when you go to certain hotels (my stand out was The Modern Honolulu) they have their signature scent and Claire came up with the idea of having a bespoke blend and name it Broadbeach.

I was invited down to ECO. HQ and the team let me go for my life! Smelling absolutely every oil, I was like a kid in a sweet shop but with some guidance we managed to create the best blend ever!! In my opinion of course. It was such a fun and creative experience and I can’t wait for the launch and all of my guests in the salon getting to experience our bespoke scent!"
