What is a diffuser?

There are a range of exciting options available when it comes to using essential oils in your home! One of the most popular methods is using a diffuser. An essential oil diffuser is a safe and easy way to disperse essential oils throughout the room, allowing you to reap the benefits of aromatherapy and enhance your wellbeing. Diffusers also add a stylish and decorative element to any living space. Our diffusers are easy to use and give you the freedom of choosing your favourite essential oils or diffuse directly from the bottle for the purest form of aromatherapy

Inhalation is the quickest and simplest method of using essential oils. You can inhale essential oils straight from the bottle or add a few drops to a diffuser or vaporiser. In addition to creating a refreshing and purifying aroma in your home or office space, the essential oils molecules will have a positive impact on your mood and health.

Choosing a diffuser for the first time is a lot of fun! There are multiple options ranging from ultrasonic mist diffusers, vaporisers, portable diffusers as well as being all different sizes and shapes. To make it easier, we’ve provided you with all the information you need to know about each kind of diffuser, their benefits and how to use them.

Ultrasonic Mist Diffuser

Ultrasonic mist diffusers are by far the most popular and easiest way to use essential oils. Mist Diffusers use heat and water to release a fine mist of essential oils into the air, which also makes them great humidifiers. They often have various lighting options and can act as a sophisticated style piece in the home.

Benefits

  • They use only a few drops of essential oils and can run for a long period of time.
  • The best diffuser for large spaces as the mist disperses widely into the air.
  • Suitable for all essential oils.

How To Use

Simply fill the tank with distilled water and add 6-8 drops of essential oils. Most mist diffusers offer the option of either continuous or intermittent mist, depending on your needs.

2. Portable Diffuser

Portable diffusers have recently taken the world by storm with their practicality and highly sought after ‘on-the-go’ benefits. If you are an aromatherapy enthusiast, then you will love these portable devices as they allow you to diffuse essential oils anywhere at anytime.

3. Nebulizing Diffuser

Nebulizers are quite new in the world of essential oils. Unlike most diffusers, they do not use heat or water. They work by atomizing the essential oils into fine particles. They are the most powerful way to diffuse essential oil and the method that preserves the quality of the oils the best. Nebulizers use a larger amount of essential oil for a shorter running time. However, the concentration of essential oils released into the air is much stronger. One important aspect to consider with nebulizers is that they cannot use viscous oils originating from roots and trees. Those who wish to use some of those oils need to first dilute them with other essential oils, requiring advanced knowledge of aromatherapy.

Benefits

  • Great for large spaces
  • Only requires a small amount of essential oil.
  • No water required.
  • No heat required.
  • USB cord which allows to be used in car.

How To Use

1. Lift open the head of the Nebulizer and remove the placeholder green essential oil bottle.
2. Remove the dripulator from the essential oil bottle you wish to use.
3. Screw the essential oil bottle to the spray head.
4. Press the power button to turn on.
5. After use, press the power button again to turn power off.

**The Cordless Travel Diffuser operates in a similar way to the Nebulizing Diffuser however it is rechargable and does not need a cord to operate.

4. Bankia Seed Pod Diffuser

An all natural, eco-friendly and sustainable essential oil diffuser. Handmade in Australia from the Banksia Grandis Seed, this natural diffuser gives a mild aroma and is mostly used as a decorative, slow releasing diffuser. Because of their porous nature, the Banksia Pods soak up the essential oil and slowly release the aroma in the air.

  • Great for small space, such as bathrooms, wardrobes, cars, work desk.
  • Suitable to use with all essential oils.
  • No water, heat or electricity needed.

How To Use
