There are many different methods we can use at home to help heal our chakras, including breath work, meditations, yoga, stretching, essential oils, massage, reiki, reflexology, acupuncture plus many more ailments.

As we are all our own, we can feel drawn to try different things to help balance our chakras. A great place to start is understanding if your imbalance is relating more toward the mind or heart or if you’re experiencing physical problems. This will help you choose the correct way to approach your alignment.

Imbalance Toward The Mind or Heart

If you are finding your mind is running a thousand miles a second and you are having trouble silencing the mental chatter some great options for you to try would be breathwork, meditation, visualisations, crystals, essential oils even your food/diet. Crystals are used to draw out or redirect energy, as well as to develop the strengths aligned with each crystal. They can be used on their own or to compliment other practices and help rebalance and heal.

Essential oils have been used for centuries for their therapeutic properties, and they can be a powerful tool to help balance and open the chakras. Essential oils are so much more than just a nice smell - you can use these to go deeper into your practices and target specific Chakras with aligning essential oils to balance your energetics and physical bodies.

If you’re experiencing physical aches and pains it may help to shift things in your diet or exercise routine and look toward treatments such as massage, acupuncture, reflexology or reiki. You can also take some time for self care such as yoga or gentle stretching.


There are many forms of yoga, one of the well-known kinds is Asana, taking you through physical postures that help provide strength and can bring awareness to physical imbalances or weaknesses you may be feeling. During practice we can spend a little extra time here or keep this in mind for future practices as an area of focus which we may need to address.

Work with a professional to target your concerns as well as finding a practitioner who is aware or specialises in Chakra rebalancing. Massage is a great way to help relieve physical pain, acupuncture uses precise needle placement to alleviate physical symptoms, reflexology chooses specific points in the body to release energies and reiki is a gentle energy healing technique.
