A celebration of Australia’s incredible landscape and natural resources. Discover the healing qualities of pure essential oils extracted from Australian native and grown plants.

1. Australian Eucalyptus (Blue Mallee) Pure Essential Oil


Blue Mallee Eucalyptus has a warm and clearing aroma, reminiscent of a soothing day spa. The familiar camphorous scent of Eucalyptus is medicinal and clearing to the mind. Well-known for its healing effects on the respiratory system eucalyptus is an antiseptic, expectorant and may help reduce fever.

 

A commonly asked question is what the difference is between Eucalyptus essential oils. There are many different species of the Eucalyptus plant. Here at ECO. we have Eucalyptus globulus which is sourced from China and Blue Mallee Eucalyptus which is sourced from Wheatbelt dryland cereal farms in regional Australia. They are very similar within their benefits and uses, and our community have found differences with their aromas.

2. Kunzea Pure Essential Oil


From the Kunzea plant also known as 'White Cloud', Kunzea essential oil is invaluable to spiritual growth. For when we are ready to let go of old hurts, Kunzea illuminates the path to healing. With a slightly spicy, camphorous scent, Kunzea oil is a gentle cousin to the Tea Tree plant and both have similar properties.

 

Kunzea has been used to help with eczema, dermatitis and general skin irritation due to it's anti-inflammatory properties. As well as arthritic pain and sore muscles from strains, sprains or after exercise. If you are feeling congested, reach for Kunzea to relive symptoms of respiratory infections and blocked sinuses.

3. Australian Peppermint Pure Essential Oil


Australian Peppermint essential oil has a beautiful strong herbal scent reflecting the rich soil and earth of Australian land.

 

Invigorating and stimulating Peppermint essential oil refreshes us from fatigue and apathy. Peppermint helps clear the mind and promote mental and emotional clarity, relieve muscle aches and pains and can improve digestive health issues.

4. Australian Mandarin Pure Essential Oil


Australian Mandarin essential oil has an intensely sweet and fresh scent. Gentler then other citrus essential oils, Mandarin helps to create a calm space for a peaceful sleep. This oil may help quell feelings of irritation, anger and anxiety.

 

A great addition to cleaning recipes due to its antibacterial and antifungal properties and is a great change from your classic Lemon or Sweet Orange, citrus essential oils.

5. Australian Lavender Pure Essential Oil


With a beautiful strong scent, Australian Lavender captures the essence of the rugged landscape of Tasmania. The nurturing floral scent of Lavender essential oil gently cools and calms our spirits. A medicine cabinet in a bottle, lavender is a must for the first aid kit. Lavender essential oil is popular for its relaxing and healing qualities, and has been known to improve sleep and general wellbeing.

6. Lemon Myrtle Pure Essential Oil


Reminiscent of the Australian landscape, Lemon Myrtle is unyielding and undeniably beautiful. With a bright and cheerful scent, Lemon Myrtle essential oil is a versatile essential oil which can be used in many ways for different purposes.

 

With antimicrobial actions, it makes for a bright and fresh addition to a cleaning DIY products or the diffuser to prevent the spread of airborne germs.

7. Tea Tree Pure Essential Oil


A gift from the ancient wisdom of Australia, Tea Tree gives strength and protection in challenging times, allowing life to carry on and flourish. Traditionally, Aboriginal people used the crushed leaves of Tea Tree as inhalation to treat respiratory complaints, with expectorant and antimicrobial actions to be effective against bacterial, fungal and viral pathogens, providing us with a broad-spectrum disinfectant.

8. Sandalwood (10%) Essential Oil


Sandalwood instils a deeply nurturing sense of peace and calm. Steam distilled from the wood, Sandalwood naturally grounds us back down to earth.

 

A warming balm for a sore heart and a restorative break from a non-stop hectic lifestyle, Sandalwood transports us to a meditative space. Sandalwood has also been shown to boost the immune system with its antimicrobial properties.
