Cleansing for majority of us is an everyday ritual we treat our skin to, to ensure we are removing any impurities or makeup from the day. Whether you are a morning or night cleanser, or maybe even both, it can be conflicting as to what cleanser is best for your skin. Foam, creamy, water-based, oil-based, soap - the options are endless. But have you ever thought, why can't I just make my own? Well here's the fun part - you absolutely can!

The best part about making your own cleanser is that you can make a smaller amount and adjust the recipe for the season or how your skin is feeling. You can adjust the base or the essential oils that you use to truly have a tailored cleanser for your skin. You also know exactly what is going into the cleanser and onto your skin while saving a few pennies along the way!

Natural Face Cleanser Recipe

Ingredients

30ml Dropper Bottle

1/4 cup liquid Castile Soap

Distilled water

5 drops Jasmine essential oil

5 drops Neroli essential oil

Castile Soap is a multipurpose natural vegetable-based and biodegradable soap which will help clean the skin. We chose Jasmine essential oil as it is beneficial for dry & inflamed skin with it's calming properties and Neroli due to its regenerating and anti-allergenic qualities. Neroli is also diluted in Jojoba oil giving an extra hydration bonus!

Method

1. Add the castile soap and the essential oils to the dropper bottle.

2. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water.

3. Leave to sit for an hour.

How to use

Add two pumps to your palm and massage over the face, neck and décolletage. To remove, simply rinse or use a reusable gentle cloth. Shake well before each use.

Note: Best to avoid using pregnancy and on children under 12 years old. If irritation occurs, seize use and monitor your skin until irritation calms down.
