DIY Moisturising Bars

What are Moisturising Bars?

Moisturising bars speak for themselves in what they can do to benefit your skin! They are softening, deeply hydrating solid moisturisers. The best part about our recipe? They're vegan! A lot of moisturising bars use beeswax pellets, which is just as beneficial, unless you are vegan or prefer a non-animal derived product. Instead, we have chosen to use Candelilla Wax, a vegetable derived wax that is soothing, nourishing and protective to the skin, its other hidden benefits may include reducing stretch marks or cellulite, which who doesn't love?!

One thing to take into account is, candelilla wax is slightly more dense then beeswax, so if you are wishing to substitute one for the other, keep in mind that you should use around half the amount of candelilla wax in comparison to beeswax.
