Black Pepper Oil for Muscle Pain: Black Pepper helps alleviate muscle pain with analgesic and warming properties. Especially useful for pain caused by strains, cramping and cold weather. A blend may be massaged into muscles, pre or post workout, to warm-up or improve recovery time.

Black Pepper oil for Arthritis: Black Pepper can reduce pain and help maintain joint health through increased blood circulation. Best applied when arthritis is causing joints to ‘lock’ and general muscle stiffness.

Black Pepper for Digestive Health: Black Pepper essential oil is calming to the stomach and may be useful in the treatment of painful wind, spasms, and cramps. May help improve appetite.

Black Pepper Oil Tonic: This essential oil is generally a tonic for soft tissue, it may improve muscle and blood vessel tone and support the integrity of the intestine.

Black Pepper Oil to Quit Smoking or for Addiction: Limited research indicates that Black Pepper oil may alleviate symptoms associated with nicotine withdrawal. Recommended use includes inhalation with the diffuser and massage around the rib area when diluted in a carrier oil.

Black Pepper for Mental Strength: Black Pepper essential oil has a warming and astringent quality that is both energising and strengthening to the mind. Use in the diffuser during a trying day or when you need extra mental focus and emotional endurance.

Diffuser: Add 6-8 drops of your chosen essential oil to a diffuser.

Muscle blend for pregnancy: Use a 1% dilution; 4 drops Lavender, 2 drops Ginger and 2 drops Black Pepper in 40ml carrier oil. *please do not use in first trimester.

Hand or foot bath: Add 2 to 3 drops in a dispersant, such as oil, to a large bowl of warm water to improve circulation in the feet or warm up cold extremities.

Compress: Add 2 drops of essential oil to a bowl of water. For treating inflammation or to cool down use cold to room temperature water. For aching tight muscles use warm to hot water. Agitate a face washer in the water, wring out excess moisture and apply washer to the affected area. Repeat two or three times as the compress cools down or warms up.

Is this safe for use during pregnancy?Use this oil with care, best used in a diffuser or diluted with a carrier oil (1% ratio). Avoid using essential oils during the first trimester unless you are under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.

Is this safe for children?
Essential oils are considered too strong for use on babies’ skin (0-24 months) and can be overwhelming on their developing systems.
