Our Wool Dryer Balls are the perfect natural alternative to traditional fabric softeners and dryer sheets. Made from 100% New Zealand organic wool, they help reduce drying time, soften fabrics and minimise wrinkles, all while being completely reusable and eco-friendly. Add a few drops of your favourite clothing-friendly essential oil for a delicate, long-lasting fragrance.

Add dryer balls to your dryer along with wet laundry. Use 3-4 balls for small to medium loads, and 5-6 balls for larger loads. Run your dryer as normal. For fragrance, add 1-2 drops of essential oil to each dryer ball and allow them to absorb for at least an hour before use. Keep the dryer on a low-medium heat setting when using essential oils.

Can I use essential oils with dryer balls?
Yes. Add 1-2 drops of a clothing-friendly essential oil onto each dryer ball at least one hour before use so the oil can fully absorb.

Simply place 1-2 drops on each ball and allow the oil to fully absorb before popping them into the dryer. This gentle, natural method leaves clothes smelling beautifully clean without synthetic fragrances or harsh chemicals.
Be sure to avoid essential oils with dark colouring, as well as citrus oils, which may stain fabrics or irritate sensitive skin.

"I’ve been trying to make a lot of low tox changes to my home. I was skeptical about the value of these but I’m pleasantly suprised I actually love them. I add 5-10 drops of essential oil onto them before I put them in the dryer and the clothing comes out smelling beautiful. Favourite scents to add have been lemon with eucalyptus and the blend happy holiday."
