Aromatherapy Oils
100% pure essential oils and blends.
Essential oils are extracted from plants and are a very concentrated form of the healing aromatic compounds either from the plant or produced during the extraction process. Our essential oils harness ancient traditions for modern use of therapeutic benefits and sensory experience. Whether you need a little extra help relaxing, sleeping, focusing or just a boost of energy, essential oils can be added to your diffuser, bath, or mixed with a carrier oil and applied topically to help support health and well-being.
Aromatherapy is the use of aromatic plants in the form of essential oils and waters to help support and enhance health both physically and emotionally. Essential oils can be absorbed into the body through the skin and nose. When essential oils are absorbed through the skin they enter into the blood stream that carries the healing molecules throughout the body.
When inhaling an essential oil, the aromatic molecules travel through two routes. Through the nasal passage, stimulating smell sense memory in the limbic system of the brain. In the lungs, essential oils pass through the bloodstream and where they are carried through the entire body. The limbic system is a primitive part of the brain that associates scent with memory and emotional response. This is why certain aromas can produce powerful memories and affect our emotional state. Once the limbic system is triggered, neurotransmitters such as serotonin and endorphins are released.
